Does anyone know of a legitimately FREE way to find someone / information on a long-lost relative?

I've searched every FREE %26amp; so-called FREE people search resource by name %26amp; SSN, I've searched death records by SSN, I've searched vital statistics/birth records, marriage %26amp; divorce records, etc.

Does anyone know of a legitimately FREE way to find someone / information on a long-lost relative?
Here are some of the websites I use to find people I lost contact of these will work. Good luck try zaba first remember also to try there name in (parenthesis) when doing a search in yahoo or google it will look for exactly that name only. If he was in the military i can do a search for you with my websites that I have to log into myself.

If you find there yahoo email you can also take there username which is everything before the @ and replace my username in the yahoo profile URL to view there yahoo profile. Below is mine as an example.

Reply:You say you have searched death records by ssn. Have you tried the social security death index by putting in the name? Rootsweb and FamilySearch.org are free and they have it.

Another thing is Yahoo People Search for live people
Reply:It would also help for you to put the name here...one might know it
Reply:The only other things that I can think of is to try www.zabasearch.com its free, and you may want to try classmates and reunion.com. Good Luck
Reply:I tracked down 180 people for a high school reunion. There is nothing free about finding people who have been out of touch for more than 5 years. You can fool yourself into thinking it's all on the internet at some site somewhere that doesn't cost. But that isn't true.

If the person you're searching for has changed her name, moved out of state, or simply chosen to be anonymous in this world, the internet is not the place to look. I would personally suggest you start with classmates.com to see if she registered there...or if there are any of her old friends from HS who are on there who might have a clue where she is today. Short of that, you need to spend money, make phone calls, do leg work, and invest a great amount of time.

On a personal level, I find it sad that something can be so important to people, but spending the $20 to find the answer is unthinkable.
