I'm having a brain fart!!?
I recently lost a friend in Ohio...cancer. If all else fails do a google search with their name in quotations (try every variation of the name) and OHIO. See what comes up. You'll probably find an obituary, especially if you put a month or year of death. Sorry for your loss.
Reply:contact local newspapers for your area or their hometown, most of the time they have it in archives
Reply:Look up "social security death index" or SSDI.

In central Ohio try obituaries at dispatch.com if the detah was recent.
Reply:If an obituary is filed in the paper, they might keep it online for a period of a year, that's a good place to start.
Reply:http://www.vitalchek.com/region_overview...
Reply:A brain fart??????????
Reply:You usually have to pay for those. call that cities county building and ask for death records.
